Nigeria midfielder Michael Olaitan is set to return to full training with his Greek club, Olympiacos after receiving an all clear signal to continue playing.
The 21-year old attacker last played competitive action in March after collapsing in a league game against rivals Panathinaikos
Olaitan featured for Nigeria in the 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup tournament in Turkey under John Obuh and has been hoping to break into the Super Eagles.
He was in impressive form before his illness, leading his side's attack, playing one of his best games against Manchester United in last season's Champions League competition.
"I'm beginning to feel my body responding. I feel great but will take it one step at a time," Olaitan told the Olympiacos official website
"It's very important that I try and be patient, but I'm really happy with my progress."
