Jose Mourinho has further ignited his war of words with Arsene Wenger by labelling the Arsenal boss "a specialist in failure".

Mourinho, unbeaten in 10 games against Wenger, was responding to comments from the Frenchman that the Premier League title was now Chelsea's to lose after they went top of the table in midweek.

After Mourinho's repeated assertion that his side are not favourites for the title this season, Wenger suggested that managers who play down their team's chances have a "fear to fail".

One thing I'm sure of is that Mou can be a good coach but never a better manager. He achieves result on. A short run and suffers the rest. If he cannot achieve result with all the players he has bought, then he is the greatest failure

Since returning to the EPL, he has bought 7 or more players added to the team, sold Mata who he claimed does not play his style of football... Guess theguy just like to spend money cos even after all these guys, he still wants to buy either Rooney, Costa, Hulk or Cavani.....

I don't think it's like the way you are painting it. He isn't wasteful in spending like Man City.
He's bought players, fine. Every manager needs to strengthen some areas in his team in order to get results n trophies. Most of the players he bought are doing well.
Wenger obviously didn't strengthen, hence his inability to win trophies.

Jose's mouth runs too much and that's why he could not see the City's defeat coming............ wenger is right, guess the guy is afraid to lose after his last trophyless season at Real Madrid. He should focus more on making the best out of his team instead of engaging in mind games that may not be productive......

Mind games sometimes determine who wins the league.

Remember Mancini when Man City won d league. He kept piling pressure on Utd by saying they are going to win the league. Utd lost an 8 points lead to gift the trophy to the blue part of Manchester.

What about Benitez vs Fergie when Man Utd won d league. As soon as Benitez started attacking Fergie Liverpool started drawing Matches eventually finishing 2nd to United

Mind games sometimes play a role in determining who wins the league.

I didn't expect Chelsea to get anything from that match. It's at the Etihad, and Pellegrini won't make the same mistake twice.
