Nigeria - Multiple explosions were on Sunday heard at the outskirts of Maiduguri, a city known for repeated attacks by Boko Haram Islamists.
Reports say loud explosions were heard from the areas of Kayamla and Dalori, three days after Maiduguri was attacked by the insurgents, leaving 10 dead and many more injured.
This is coming barely four days, after five suicide bombers had stormed the city, killing no fewer than 14 people with 39 others injured, on October 1, the nation’s 55th Independence Day Anniversary.
