Niger Delta Avengers, a militant group bent on crippling Nigeria's upstream oil sector, has announced that it carried out 5 attacks on oil installations in the nation in the last 3 days.
The group said it blew up the pipeline supplying oil to the Warri refinery on Friday.
On Saturday, it said it blew up two NNPC pipelines close to Batan station in Delta state.
The group added that it attacked two major Chevron pipelines in the early hours of Sunday.
It said all the operations were carried out by its strike team.
NNPC and Chevron are yet to comment on the issue.
The activities of the Niger Delta Avengers have seen the nation's oil production output drop to 30-year lows.
Government had announced last week that production had increased due to repair works on damaged facilities and a cease in attacks since June 16.
The militants want the Niger Delta area to be given a greater share of the revenue Nigeria generates from oil proceeds. They also want government to clean up the area.
