Niger state Governor, Babaginda Aliyu has evicted his deputy, Ahmed Musa Ibeto from the state's government house.

NIGERIAN TRIBUNE wrote;

NIGER State governor, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, has ejected his deputy, Honourable Ahmed Musa Ibeto, from his office at the Government House.

This was as the governor directed Ibeto to relocate to “F” Layout quarters, a public residential area about 1,500 metres away from the Government House premises.

The relationship of the embattled deputy governor with his boss had been frosty since his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in January.

An aide to the deputy governor, who craved anonymity, in a brief chat with the Nigerian Tribune, confirmed that a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Sa’idu Ndako Idris Kpaki, had directed Ibeto to relocate to the new office with immediate effect.

The relocation letter, issued at the weekend, was said to have given the deputy governor until today to relocate to his new office.
