About 1,200 Christmas fowls on Saturday lost their lives in a road accident along Benin-Ore highway in Benin City, capital of Edo State, Nigeria.
According to PM NEWS, the fowls were valued at N4,800,0000 and were meant for sale at Uselu market, located at a distance of about half a kilometre from the scene of the accident.
No human life was lost in the accident.
