Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari, in a recent interview with Aljazeera, has expressed doubts about the loyalty of some top officials of his government.
He said it would be wrong to assume that government officials, especially those who his government inherited from the Peoples Democratic Party will be 100 per cent loyal to his government.
“People who want to be fair to us to sit and reflect; from the President to the ministers to the permanent secretaries, they were all taken over after eight successive governments of those who are now in the opposition. So, we cannot assume that all of them are 100 per cent loyal to this government.” he said.
