Ekiti state Governor, Ayo Fayose has urged the All Progressives Congress, APC to tread with caution as the South-south region where President Goodluck Jonathan comes from still accounts for the bulk of Nigeria's revenue; THE SUN reports.
Speaking with aviation correspondents at the Lagos airport, Fayose said, ''We should remember that the economy of this country lies in the South-South, so we must strike a balance''.
''But let me make it clear to all Nigerians, the election is going to be a bit turbulent. Even if Buhari wins the election today, there would be reactions. But Jonathan would win the election and there would be reactions to it. Any attempts to bomb or blackmail Jonathan out of office, we should know the repercussion''.
