Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday disclosed that he met with Former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar because he (Obasanjo) is an elder statesman.

National leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and former vice president and a presidential aspirant of the party, Atiku Abubakar, were in the Abeokuta-home of the former president, last Friday. When asked about the purpose of their visits, the source explained that it all centred on next year polls.
