A security guard working at the private residence of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja Il was on Tuesday murdered by unknown gunmen.
According to The Nation, the security guard is suspected to be one of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officers working in the house.
The security guard was shot in front of the Ooni’s house while going to buy a recharge card for his phone, reports say.
