Lawyers representing Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Former Niger Delta Minister, Godsday Orubebe today clashed at the Code of Conduct, CCT.
Trouble started when Justice Danladi Umar who arrived over one hour behind schedule said he should commence with Orubebe's case first but because of seniority , Saraki's case will be heard first.
Orubebe's counsel said it's unfair for CCT to stand down Orubebe vs CCT for Saraki vs CCT. Justice Umar chided them for not showing respect for seniors. Both Rotimi Jacobs (SAN) and Kanu Agabi ( SAN) agree with Justice Umar's ruling on seniority in the bench.
Justice Umar rules that Saraki vs CCT must be heard first and asks Orubebe's counsels to stand down.
