Entertainment Peter Okoye of P-Square Fuels Break-Up Rumour, Floats New Label

Peter Okoye, one half of Nigeria's prime musical group P-Square has floated a new record label christened 'P Classic' amidst speculations that perhaps all is not well with the group that ridden the Nigerian music scene like a colossus for years.

Peter recently took to his Instagram page to announce the birth of the new record label but he didn't stop there. The singer and dancer also revealed that his cousin, Malcom Obinna officially becomes his first artiste under the label.

While Malcom's debut single is expected to drop soon, speculations of a possible disaffection between P-Square began about a month ago when Peter signed an individual endorsement deal with Olympic milk.

When asked why he chose to go solo on the deal and not with his brother, Peter dropped the analogy of the ability of a footballer to sign an individual deal without involving the entire team into the deal.
As expected, this has thrown up a fresh set of questions for the Okoye twins and fans have their fingers crossed yet again.

A source close to the group has however, maintained that all is well with the group as P Classic is expected to cater for up and coming acts adding that Peter is not signed on the new label.
