Senator Danjuma Goje, former Governor of Gombe state, who is presently a Senator was on Monday arrested by the police in the state.
LEADERSHIP reported that Goje was arrested by the Gombe state police commissioner, Mohammed Abubakar, who detained him for some hours before releasing him.
The reason for his arrest is however unknown.
