According to Premium Times, the senate president, Bukola Saraki, will be meeting with Nigeria's service chiefs to chart a part to cool the security situation in the south east of Nigeria.

This meeting is coming as President Buhari heads to New York for the UN Assembly.

The senate president released a statement urging religious and political leaders from across the country to embrace dialogue for tackling agitation and to bring lasting peace.

He acknowledge that the security situation in the country have been amplified by the current economic hardship that Nigerians are currently experiencing.

In other words, hates speech & violence in Nigeria is mostly caused by political and financial recklessness of the ruling elites among whom Saraki Is very prominent.
