Nigeria's Falconets completely took apart Korea DPR thumping their opponents 6-2 to qualify for the finals of the FIFA under 20 Women's World Cup taking place in Canada.

The Nigerian girls were rampant and dominated every department of the game to win the semifinal contest.

Particularly impressive was the impact of Asisat Oshoala who made all the difference in what appeared to be a one-sided affair.

If there was anything synonymous with Nigeria's Falconets at the tournament,it was their penchant of scoring early goals.

Prior to the game,Falconets's coach Peter Dedevbo promised to attack the Koreans and try to score an early goal, true to that, the Nigerians started of on a flyer.

Nigeria once again found the net in the first minute the match, and for the second time in this tournament it came from none other than Courtney Dike.

After just a minute, the Nigerian team was a goal ahead,Dike latched on to a pass and hit a powerful low shot past the Korean keeper to put the Falconets 1-0 up.

The Nigerians were a goal up,but it was the Koreans that were visible afterwards, the Asians probed and searched for a goal.

Kim So Yen came very close for Korea, hitting an effort that the Nigerian goalkeeper,Chi Chi was equal to .

Nigeria however got a breather when Oshoala increased their goals tally to two.

Oshoala has been one of the stars of the tournament so far and she showed why with her sheer brilliance.

In a quick counter by Nigeria,Oshoala persevered with her run from midfield going past one defender and rounding the goalkeeper before slotting into the empty net.

But it didn't look as though the Nigerians had the upper hand in the match because the Koreans were the team who pressed more.

A spectacular goal from Rj Un Sim reduced the deficit for the Koreans. She held on play and perfectly aimed her spot to beat the Nigerian keeper.

But the Nigerians started brighter of both teams in the second half and attacked with intent.

The way Oshoala and Dike combined and interchanged worried the Koreans who had problems picking them up.

Dike paced past a Korean defender and struck a left-footed shot that was certain to find the net,but the keeper was well positioned to tip the shot out for a corner.

The Nigerians were getting into their strides and started motoring against their opponents.

In fact the game looked reminiscent of Nigeria's quarter-final match against New Zealand which they won 4-1.

Substitute Uchechi Sunday replicated what she did in the last game, scoring with her first touch of the game to put Nigeria 3-1,minutes after coming into the game for Dike.

Oshoala turned provider, swinging in a cross from the right wing that Sunday finished off for the third goal.

The Nigerians were in the ascendancy and Oshoala started running riot like someone possessed.

She skipped past a Korean and belted an unstoppable shot that found the net for the fourth goal.
There was to be a nervy moment when Njoku gave away a penalty and Jon Su Yon stepped up to convert and reduce the scores at 4-2.

But then afterwards it turned into an Oshoala show as she went on to score more goals.

Her movements down the right wing was menacing and she was constantly going into Korea's rearguard undetected.

Further two goals from her took her tally to four in the match and seven overall set her apart as an outstanding player in the tournament.

Having qualified,it will be the second appearance that Nigeria will making in the finals of the FIFA Under 20 Women's World Cup.

And they will be coming up against the winners of the other semifinal tie between Germany vs France.
