Sports Pre-Season games: Super Eagles players Anichebe and Ik Uche finds the net

Two Nigerian players Victor Anichebe and Ik Uche were on target for their respective clubs during their pre-season friendly games over the weekend.

Anichebe found the net in the 61st minute for West Brom,already hitting the ground running after the arrival of another Nigerian player,Brown Ideye .

The Nigerian international scored the third goal for the Baggies in their 3-1 win over Sacramento Republic.

Meanwhile Ik Uche on his part netted the opener for Villarreal in their 2-0 victory over Reus Deportiu on Saturday.

Joel Obi on his part,played a huge role in helping Inter Milan beat Real Madrid 3-2 on penalties in a pre-season friendly game after they both drew 1-1 in regulation time.

Joel Obi, who was dropped from Keshi's 23-man list to the world cup saw 78 minutes of action before he was taken off for Rene Krhin. 



The three players have put the disappointment of not being at the World Cup in Brazil and now making their marks for their respective clubs as the new season approaches.
