Bola Tinubu, National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC has described Senate President, Bukola Saraki as 'disloyal' .

The statement signed by Tinubu's Special Media Adviser, Sunday Dare, the national leader of the All progressives Congress (APC), refuted media reports that he was conspiring with Saraki to undermine President Muhammadu Buhari, and has therefore, been put under security surveillance by the Federal Government; THE SUN reports.

The statement read, “Media reports claim that Tinubu has joined with Saraki to scuttle the president’s ministerial nominations. Like the rest of us, Tinubu waited for the president to select his cabinet and now that the selections have been made, there is nothing more to do than to congratulate those who would be appointed and pray for them.

''It takes at least two people to make a conspiracy. There has not been substantive communication between Tinubu and Saraki, when the latter decided to foul the integrity of the Senate and the party. It was a crass act of disloyalty, showing that Saraki may have joined the APC on paper, but has remained true to the malpractices and wrong aims of the PDP in his soul. Tinubu would not toss aside a life time of labour because of an alleged slight, and certainly would not join Saraki in stemming this government, which may just be the nation’s last best chance to salvage itself. It would be a grave mistake and abuse of office for Saraki to directly or indirectly inject his personal matter into the approval process.

''Therefore, if adhering to the decisions of the party and supporting the government’s visions, qualifies Tinubu for surveillance, then he will accept that. However, we know that any such surveillance is not from security agencies. Such activity would come from the PDP and its mercenary allies elsewhere, who would seek to fragment the true core of the APC so that they may scuttle Buhari’s reform programme and return the nation to the mis-governace of the past.

“They seek to break the hearts of the people, and Tinubu would never team up with anyone to gain such an objective''.
