Meriam Yahya Ibrahim, a 27-year-old Sudanese woman who was sentenced to death for changing her religion from Christianity to Islam has given birth in jail.
According to Fox News, Meriam gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday in the hospital wing of a prison in Omdurman.
She will be given 100 lashes when she has recovered from giving birth, while her execution will be carried out in two years time.
