Sports Teams that Enyimba and Kano Pillars will face in the CAF Champions League preliminary stage

Two Nigerian clubsides Kano Pillars and Enyimba have been drawn in the preliminary stages of next season's CAF Champions League.

While Pillars got pitted against Sudanese club Malakia, Enyimba was drawn against Buffles du Borgou of Benin Republic

Both Pillars and Enyimba will be representing Nigeria on the continent next season, having finished first and second respectively in the league.

Pillars will travel to Sudan for their first leg of their game against Malakia before returning to Kano for the return fixture.

While Enyimba on their part will host the first leg of their own tie in Aba before travelling to Benin Republic.

The People's Elephant won back to back Champions League titles in 2003 and 2004, the only Nigerian side to have done so.

Meanwhile, two other Nigerian clubs on the continent, Dolphins and Warri Wolves will be competing in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Dolphins who finished runners up in the Federation Cup, will be coming up against Leones Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea while Warri Wolves will square up against Racing Club de Bobo-Dioulasso from Burkina Faso.
