Oluwabunmi Adeola Oladokun, the only daughter of a Lagos-based Pastor, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Friday around Orisumbare area of Idimu, while on her way to her office in Victoria Island, Lagos State.
She was said to have died on the spot while the another victim, a man, whose identity is still unknown managed to escape with a gunshot injury and is reportedly responding to treatment at a private hospital in the area.
Pastor Peter Oladokun, who recently lost his wife is said to be the father of the lady and a minister in the Mighty Hand of God church, a popular church along Ejigbo Road, Orisumbare, DAILYPOST reports.
He said a neighbour informed him about the attack involving his daughter and that when he got to the scene of the incident, he found his daughter already dead.
The reason for the gun attack is still mysterious but eyewitnesses said the lady was running and calling for help before she was shot dead by the unknown gunmen.
Before her death, she was said to be the only daughter of her parents. She had worked with a publishing company that produces a magazine before she recently joined a PR firm on Lagos Island.
The police are reportedly holding investigations to unravel the mystery behind the incident.
