Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has re-invited Stoke City striker Osaze Odemwingie back in his team and also team captain Joseph Yobo, after both players have been on the international wilderness.
But there was no place for Villareal FC striker Ikechukwu Uche whom Keshi swore will not be part of his team.
There were new additions in the team with Joel Obi making his first return to the national team in over two years.
Heartbreak for Reading FC player Hope Akpan who was initially in the list, but former Flying Eagles striker the Uche Nwofor was drafted in late in the day to replace him.
Meanwhile, there was also no place in the team for Leon Balogun who looked like his place on the team was nailed. The Fortuna Dusserdolf defender was possibly omitted from the team s he is still recuperating from an injury he copped plying for Nigeria in March this year.
And as has been his policy,Keshi handed invitations to five players from the Nigeria league team to be part of his provisional squad.
The list will be pruned down after some series of friendly games to an eventual 23 who will be going to Brazil, starting with the match against Scotland on May 28.
