Abdullahi Sabo, a resident of Abuja, fell victim to the escalating insecurity plaguing the nation's capital as he was abducted while driving home with his wife. The incident occurred on Sabon-Lugbe, Airport Road, when gunmen intercepted his Ash color Lexus Jeep, deflating its tires after opening fire.
Despite his wife's escape, Sabo was taken by the assailants in an unmarked Golf car. Daramola Joseph, a neighbor, recounted the traumatic event, highlighting the assailants' deliberate actions.
As insecurity concerns intensify in Abuja, this incident follows closely on the heels of a recent abduction in Army Estate, Kurudu.
