In a decisive victory against terrorism, troops of the Joint Task Force North West Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) successfully neutralized two terrorists and rescued 35 kidnap victims in Katsina State.

The daring operation carried out on January 27, showcased the well-coordinated efforts of the military in combating insecurity in the North-West.

Captain Yahaya Ibrahim, spokesperson for Operation Hadarin Daji, revealed that the rescued victims, including 19 males, 12 females, and four children, were promptly handed over to the Katsina State Government. Brigadier General Oluremi Fadairo, Commander 17 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 2 Operation HADARIN DAJI, pledged continued efforts to dismantle terrorist enclaves, emphasizing the commitment to restoring security in the region.

Despite Katsina being among states grappling with banditry, this successful mission marks a significant stride towards curbing the menace.
