The Defence Headquarters has announced its intention to request a meeting with Rev Timothy Daluk, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Daluk recently made allegations against the Nigerian military, accusing them of overseeing the killings of Christians and the destruction of property in the state. In a viral video, Daluk claimed that the military was forcibly displacing Christians, allowing militias to burn their houses.

In response, Maj. Gen. Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, stated that the Defence Headquarters is in the process of reaching out to Daluk to substantiate his claims. Buba emphasized the military's commitment to professionalism and adherence to international standards, assuring a thorough investigation into the allegations.
