In a remarkable display of skill and dedication, officers from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have achieved a historic milestone by emerging as the top-performing team at the US Special Program for Embassy Augmentation Response (SPEAR) training mission in Amman, Jordan.

Throughout the program, which ran from March 10 to April 3, 2024, the Nigerian contingent, consisting of 20 Mobile Police officers attached to the US Consulate General in Lagos, underwent rigorous training conducted by US Navy Seals.

The training encompassed various tactical drills and assessments to enhance the team's ability to respond effectively to emergencies and tactical situations. Squadron Commander 23PMF, ACP Itse Daniel Amah, expressed profound gratitude to the United States government and the US Consulate General in Lagos for their steadfast support, emphasizing the invaluable partnership between Nigeria and the US.

The successful completion of the SPEAR training not only underscores the commitment and hard work of the Nigerian officers but also signifies a significant advancement in the country's law enforcement capabilities and contribution to global security efforts. Force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, commended the officers for their exemplary performance, noting that their achievement reflects the NPF's dedication to professionalism and service excellence.

This accomplishment is poised to bolster Nigeria's efforts towards ensuring sustainable national security and safety.
