President Bola Tinubu issued a stern warning to government officials and family members about attending the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting without proper invitation. The warning came during the commencement of the FEC meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. President Tinubu stated that only a select few individuals were authorized to attend these meetings, and others should not attempt to gain access without explicit invitation.

The authorized attendees included Hadiza Usman, Special Adviser on Policy Coordination, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Principal Private Secretary, and Damilotun Aderemi, Private Secretary. The President emphasized that unless he explicitly called for someone's presence, they should not attend.

President Tinubu further directed the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Folashade Yemi-Esan, to take note of his directive. He also stressed the need for proper planning and adherence to guidelines in organizing government events.

Additionally, President Tinubu expressed unwavering confidence in the integrity of his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and called for an end to any baseless accusations and unfounded rumors circulating in the public domain
