Recall that Ndume was suspended following a point of order he raised on the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki and Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Senator Dino Melaye (APC, Kogi).

Ndume in a chat with Daily trust said his only agenda now, just like before, remained the plight of thousands of people of his constituency who had been rendered homeless as a result of insurgency.

He said the humanitarian crisis in his constituency had not received the necessary attention, especially in the area of provision of funds to fix the damage wreaked by the insurgency.

“If I resume next Tuesday, my one and only agenda is on the plight of my constituents. The humanitarian situation is worrisome and this is why it will be my one and only agenda,” he said.
