Spanish giants Barcelona defied gargantuan odds to qualify for the Champions League quarter final, destroying PSG 6-1 in the process at Nou Camp.

Barcelona trailed by 4 goals from the first leg, and it seemed almost impossible to get through.

However the giants progressed, despite a Cavani scare in the second half, aided with controversial referee decisions.

Suarez nodded in from close range early on before an own goal doubled Barcelona's lead.

Messi scored from the spot to raise hopes before Cavani's powerfully volley put Barcelona on the back pedal.

Neymar then singlehandedly uplifted his team, scoring a freekick in the 88th minute to make it 4-1. Two minutes after this Neymar made it 5-1 when Suarez fell down in the box and replays suggested the Uruguan dived.

Sergi Roberto then made it 6-1 in stoppage time to send Nou Camp into Shangri La, Barcelona winning 6-5 on aggregate.
