Metro Boko Haram Attack Yola Mosque Leaves 17 Dead, 73 Others Injured

Bomb explosion that rocked Yola this afternoon has killed 17 people and over 73 other persons injured.

The incident occurred when Muslim faithful were leaving the mosque after their Friday Jumaat prayers. The blast makes it a second one that will occur in North-eastern part of Nigeria with a similar one that occurred early hour of Friday in Maiduguri, Borno state capital.

Those that sustained injuries have been moved to the Federal Medical Centre in Yola for treatments.
