In the UEFA Champions League semifinal draws made on Friday, Atletico Madrid got drawn against Chelsea while Real Madrid would face Bayern Munich in a promising tasty match-ups between the teams left in the competition.

Pep Guardiola will making a return to Spain, this time he would be coaching Bayern Munich as he goes up against Carlo Ancelotti who is hoping to lead Real Madrid to the much coveted La Decima title.

While Jose Mourinho will put his tactical nous to test when he faces Diego Simeone in the other semifinal pairing.

But Atletico Madrid proved the one everybody dreaded the most, considering their completeness and also the fact that they are the only unbeaten team left in the Champions League this season.

Both fixtures guarantees maximum satisfaction in excitement as there is no obvious weak team amongst the four left.

Prior to the draws, talks on whether Thibaut Courtois would face Chelsea pervaded the atmosphere, considering that the young Belgian keeper is on loan from English side, with Atletico president revealing this week that they would have to pay a hefty fee to his parent club if they field him.

But European football governing body,UEFA insisted that Atletico will not have to pay Chelsea any compensation to field the goalkeeper .

A UEFA statement issued prior to the draw read: "In response to media reports referring to the situation of Club Atlético de Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, UEFA would like to reiterate its position.

"The integrity of sporting competition is a fundamental principle for UEFA.

"Both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations contain clear provisions which strictly forbid any club to exert, or attempt to exert, any influence whatsoever over the players that another club may (or may not) field in a match.

"It follows that any provision in a private contract between clubs which might function in such a way as to influence who a club fields in a match is null, void and unenforceable so far as UEFA is concerned.

"Furthermore, any attempt to enforce such a provision would be a clear violation of both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations and would therefore be sanctioned accordingly."

Hmm fair draw, would have prefered Chelsea playing Realmadrid. But whichever way, hoping Bayern and athletico goes through

Maybe Chelsea vs Real Madrid would be a perfect mix for the final. Jose Mourinho renewing old acquaintances with former club, surely not devoid of drama. And in Lisbon Cristiano Ronaldo and Mourinho entering a popularity contest in Portugal over who's more appreciated. However, they all have to scale through the semifinals first, before they could dream.
