Sports Chelsea interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared to be a transfer target for Chelsea football club next summer.

The Portuguese has never hidden his desire to make a return to Manchester United but Chelsea are believed to be interested in luring him to Stamford Bridge.

Ronaldo left United for Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2009,with a then world record fee of £80million paid for him.

Chelsea are said to be lining up a £60million bid which they want to table for the 29-year old next year.

The 2013 Ballon D'or winner is rumoured to be angling for a move away from Real, reportedly unhappy with the club's transfer policies.

He was even quoted to have said that he "would have done things differently,if he were in charge."

Jose Mourinho is believed to be interested in the player, but it is left to be seen whether he can work with Ronaldo again, considering that both fell out during his time as Real's coach.

Already,Real having been linked with Marco Reus and Eden Hazard as potential replacements should Ronaldo leave the club.
