A former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Mohammed, has been granted a bail of N500 million by a federal high court in Abuja on Friday.
Bala Mohammed is accused of fraudulently receiving over N800 million as gratification while in office as minister.
He is also accused of failing to declare his assets.
He had been remanded in Kuje Maximum Prison Wednesday pending the determination of his bail application.
The matter was adjourned to July 4.
