FIFA president Sepp Blatter does not appear too keen on having an investigation report on the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bids published.

There has been a clamour to have the findings of the report made public, amid claims that everything has been shrouded in secrecy.

American lawyer Michael Garcia headed the panel that led the inquest into how the hosting rights of the next two World Cups were awarded, and he has now requested for his report to be published.

But FIFA president Sepp Blatter on Friday said that they are not "bound by regulations" to publish the report.

Some FIFA executive members have been championing the call to have the report made public, with UEFA president Michel Platini the latest high-profiled executive to lend a voice.

Meanwhile,Blatter downplayed the wristwatch saga with the Brazilian Football Federation(CBF) saying: " "this is a non-problem."

Blatter also took the time to officially announce his intention to stand for next year's elections.

"I have announced to the executive committee... that I will accept the demands of different associations and federations (to stand for election) to serve FIFA for a fifth mandate."
