Stella Olah, 28 year old mother of three was stabbed in the heart by Stella Omoigiafo Gilbert, 31 mother of one after a disagreement in their compound in Ajegunle, Lagos. According to the husband of the deceased, Mr. Godwin Olah, the suspect had also inflicted severe injuries on the deceased hand before piercing the heart.
The scuffle arose when Mr. Olah carried out a small bench at the front of a neighbour’s house for a visitor to sit inside the room of Mr. And Mrs. Olah. Stella accosted him and asked why should he carry the bench inside. The owner of the bench asked Stella to let him be, brought hot water and poured on them. Olah went to the police station in Ajaromi and reported the case.
When he got back, he discovered the body of his wife in the corridor of their compound in a pool of blood.
Mr. Olah and his wife fell out with the accused after he prevented her from using knife on her sister during a scuffle. After that, the suspect began to view the entire Olah family as enemies.
The accused has been remanded in prison custody after she was arraigned at the magistrate court in Ebute Metta.
