Imo State Commissioner of Police, #AbdulmajidAli, yesterday denied a report that linked a tanker explosion in the state to the activities of the dreaded Islamic sect, #BokoHaram.
A tanker explosion occurred state around Control Post, along Owerri–Onitsha Road recently, which sent jitters into the spines of residents and motorists.
It was gathered that unknown persons believed to be members of Boko Haram who were rumoured to have Head of Service, Anambra State, Mr. Chidi Ezeoke; Governor Willie Obiano, and his Chief of Staff, Prof. Joe Asike, at the May Day celebration in Awka, yesterday. infiltrated the state were behind the explosion.
