The presidency yesterday hinted that President Goodluck Jonathan suffered from acute abdominal pains in London. It said that the president who is billed to leave London at 2:00pm today will arrive in Abuja at 8 pm as doctors who examined and treated him “for the sudden onset of severe abdominal pains in London have certified him fit to return home and continue his official duties.”
Special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, who disclosed this in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP Sunday, noted that: “After a thorough evaluation of the president’s symptoms, medically referred to as acute abdomen, the doctors concluded that no surgical intervention was required.
