The former member of the House of Representatives and executive secretary of Anti-Corruption Network, Hon Dino Melaye has called for the resignation of the coordinating minister of the economy and minister of finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala due to her inability to account for the alleged illegal deductions made by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC) to pay for kerosene subsidy.

Speaking with LEADERSHIP yesterday, Hon Melaye also condemned the minister for suggesting that there should be forensic auditing of NNPC accounts by external auditors saying that the minister wants to distract the attention of Nigerians who are demanding for the NNPC to account for unremitted funds to the Central Bank of Nigeria which was purportedly used in paying for kerosene subsidy.
