Ex Kano state governor, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso has petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and Police Service Commission (PSC) over the closure of his office in the state earlier this week.

In the petition signed by Aliyu Sani Madaki and Yusuf Bello Suleiman and submitted at the office of the Police Service Commission, in Abuja, Kwankwaso called on President Buhari, the commission and the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim K. Idris, to call the state police commissioner to order, in the interest of peace in the state.

Specifically, the petitioner urged the chairman of the police service commission, Mr Mike Okiro, to carry out a thorough investigation of the invasion and recommend appropriate sanction to those behind it.
