Following his superlative performance for Bacelona this season, Lionel Messi has been crowned AS' La Liga Player of the Season award.
The four-time ballon d'Or winner beat his arch rival, Cristiano Ronaldo to the awards after receiving 55.87 percent as against Ronaldo's 35.37 percent.
