Benjamin Nwaobi, a 26 year old man has been arraigned before the Yaba Magistrate court for allegedly stealing phones and tablet devices of varying models worth 423,000. It was said that the suspect allegedly stole the phones from the smart phone dealer Slot Systems Limited.
According to the charge sheet read at the Magistrate court, the Nokia phones stolen by the accused included 3 Nokia Lumia 750 phones worth N135, 000; 2 Nokia Lumia 520 worth N50, 000; 2 Blackberry phones worth N250, 000 and one iPad 4G 32GB worth N122, 000, all of which were the property of Slot Systems Limited located at Unilag Akoka, Lagos.
Benjamin Nwaobi pleaded not guilty to the offence. Bail was set at N200, 000 with two sureties each in like sum.
