Metro Militants Invade Igando in Lagos, Police Flee As Many Feared Dead

There was pandemonium this morning Ewedogbo area of Igando, along LASU road as suspcted militants the community with many people feared killed.

According to PM News, a resident in the area, who craved anonymity sent a Save Our Soul, SOS, message to the police and the state government to quickly act as the militants were killing people.

“Please help us call emergency line right now, Ewedogbo area of Igando, LASU Road is on war, Niger Delta militant are killing people right now, no one can call or go out, I am eye witness, please, help us spread the information,” he said in an urgent Whatsapp message around 8.00am on Tuesday.

According to him, the policemen who came to the area had run away as the militants had occupied everywhere.



“The police that came have run back, the militants have occupied everywhere right now in Ewedogbon. They just broke our house’s main gate right now,” he said.

Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Dolapo Badmos, told PM News that the police were aware of the invasion and that everything was under control as policemen had been drafted to the area to protect lives and properties.

We should asked ourselves a simple question: why would they? to what end? who benefits? How do we know they are Niger Delta militants? Why now? Why kill people in Lagos?

We should not also forget that THERE ARE PIPELINES in that community. Hence, likelihood of the attack is possible, though I still don't understand how pipeline vandals can be liken to citizens. But on resistance level, it may happen.

Must all the pipe line in Niger delta been blown up b4 they can evade another state, or have u forggotten the millitant make a threat to to blown up Lagos third mainland bridge, and delta-onitsha bridge ? Let me tell u what people dn't knw here, the millitant in Lagos and Ogun state are all Lagos based Ijaw boys, they have been living in Lagos for so long time, they knew the in and out of pipelines in southwest,not only lagos,bcos they are simply all living near rivers or creek, if u want to fault me do survey and check the tribe that live in river rine area of southwest expecially ogun and Lagos, u will be surprised that 70% are ijaws from niger delta 10% are Ilaje from Ondo state n 5% are Egun from Badagry, Lagos state, and 5% are Awori tribe from Lagos...IJaw has been the dominary of the River or creek areas in Lagos n Ogun state.. To be sincere Ijaw has been peace right from onset, they very lovely people in those days, even though some of their guys then were later getting involved in bunkery n later arm robbery......But todays things has seriously taking step up criminally especially when Jonathan became president, that was when they became something else by embarking strongly on bunkery after they have bought series of sophisticated weapon funded by some of their politicial, though their politician God fathers might nt sincerely known about buying those weapon with the money that was given them..Let tell u, when the now started embarking on bunkery like a legal business, they became warlord of those community they stays, Even when security agencies came to disrupt their business at Ishawo agric, ikorodu, these millitant faced the security agencies, killed them n took their body to the bush, both police, sss, and civil defence, it was intervension of Army that chased the millitantsaway from their former base to a lil bit far away to hidden creek around the Area but boundary ogun state, that's where they invaded ogun state....So their terror act since then have been an Alarming one, just because they are chased from doing bunkery n shuting down of flow of fuel in all the pipeline along those communities in Lagos...So since then, they have became terrorist in lagos state n neighbouring state, Now they kill like they have no conscience, kidnapped like they are in south south, they can never pass on a land to go execute their terror act, but they make use of what they are use of by taking boat through all the link creek n rivers in Lagos state to carry out their terror attack....If not, why is it that all the place of attack are all river rine area in lagos state??? This Niger Delta millitant are now Terrorist like Boko Haram and Fulani herdmen, who invade any community of their choice and unleach mayhem on the peaceful going westerners.....To the extent that this terrorist also invited millitant like them to their den....No doubt all my comment they are the facts...

This is really getting out of hand. Government should wake up to their responsibility, it's not just about collecting taxes from the citizens they should be alive to their responsibilities or else they should quit.
