A list of religious clerics who benefited from the $2.1 billion arms deal fraud will soon be made public by the federal government, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, the National Missioner of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria has said.
Hinting on possible disclosure of identities of the beneficiary clerics, Sheikh Bello said the current administration would not hesitate to deal with anyone found to have stolen the nation’s wealth.
"For you, the clerics who also took from the arms fund, your game is up. The list of those clerics will soon be made public. It has been compiled and will soon be made public. This is a blind government and anybody caught this time around will be severely dealt with," he said.
He spoke during the weekend at the 2016 Annual Ramadan Lecture and Special Prayer for the Nation, organised by the AUD in Abuja.
