Nigeria's former minister of information, Labaran Maku, after being defeated in the race for the Peoples Democratic Party guber ticket in Nasarawa, has found solace in the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) as the party has presented him as it's governorship candidate for the 2015 elections.

The Chairman of the party in the state, Chief John Amako, who presented Maku and his running mate to the party’s officials and supporters from the 13 local government areas of the state said "all rumours making the rounds that Maku is not the governorship candidate of APGA in the state should be disregarded,” Amako said.

The party also presented Mr Ibrahim Abu as Maku’s running mate in February’s governorship election.

He said the APGA national headquarters and all the stakeholders of the party in the state had endorsed the decision to present Maku as governorship candidate.
