There was a fire outbreak at the INEC headquarters office in Abuja on Monday.
According to the National Chairman of INEC in charge of the South West, Solomon Soyebi, the fire incident wasn't a serious one.
“There was a fire outbreak in INEC in the office of the PA to the Chairman. It was caused by an electrical fault from an Air Conditioner.
Reports say the fire which started around 12:10pm was said to have burnt the curtain in the office of the PA to the Chairman.
“It has been brought under control by men of the fire service," Soyebi said.
