Nigeria has moved 3 places up to the 67th position in the latest football rankings released by FIFA.
In July the Super Eagles were ranked 70th globally and 17th on the continent. Nigeria also ranked 16th in Africa moving a place up from July’s ranking.
The Eagles have been on a free fall in the past few months, a result which saw them experience their worst rankings in recent times.
Algeria remain Africa’s best ranked team as they occupy number 32 in the world and first on the continent.
There were no changes at the rankings summit, with the top 20 retaining their July position.
