Nigerian Senate has passed the reduction of Age for Elective positions in the country.

The bill is tagged #NotTooYoungToRun bill and been clamoured for by the Nigerian Youths



The bill seeks altered Sections 65, 106, 131, 177 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) to reduce the age qualification for the office of the President from 40 years to 30 years, Governor and Senator from 35 to 30, and the House of Representatives and Houses of Assembly from 30 to 25.

Good One. But for gvernor and senator from 35 to 30 suppose to be at least 25 years because by the time a person of 45 years will reduce his age by 15 years, he will be 30 years, "not so young".
