Now commuters can pay as low as N20 for short distances on the BRT bus, with the new electronic ticketing (e-ticket) system put in place by Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) on Tuesday.

The governor has implemented this new system for the Bus Rapid Transit (buses) to ensure faster and more efficient transportation use for both the operators and for the users.

He declared that the e-ticket system is first of its kind in the country, and it brings Nigeria a step closer to the status quo as observed in developed countries.
