A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Gideon Aremu, was on Friday assassinated by gunmen in Ibadan.
Mr. Aremu represents Orelope State Constituency of the state.
According to a Punch report, the gunmen followed him using a motorcycle on his way home. They gunned him down in front of his house in Ibadan.
The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed his assassination and deployed it’s men to apprehend the killers.
