There is palpable fear among residents of Rumuolumeni community in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State following the invasion of the community by suspected ritualists.
Leadership gathered that the apprehension in Rumuolumeni community followed the discovery of the remains of an unidentified man in a bush, close to the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) with his manhood missing.
A source, who pleaded anonymity said the deceased looked like a Fulani herdsman, adding that a close examination on the corpse indicated he was dragged into the bush and clubbed to death.
The source said, “A corpse was found this morning in a bush around Eagle Cement Company. The body looks like a Fulani man. Policemen from Rumuolumeni Police Station have taken the body.”
