President Muhammadu Buhari may be replacing suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation with any of the following prominent Nigerians and politicians
There were indications that the presidency may have foreclosed the return of Babachir Lawal as the Secretary General of the Federation.
Those being recommended from the North-Central are:
1. Minister of Agriculture Audu Ogbe (based on performance in office)
2. Senators George Akume
3. Barnabas Gemade
